Jeffrey is the midday host on LITE 95.1 and has been entertaining Central Oregon radio listeners since 2003. His audience consistently ranks among the largest in the Central Oregon and Jeffrey has become a key ingredient to the marketing success of many local businesses. Jeffrey inherited his love of broadcasting from his father, Larry Nelson, who was the longest running morning show host in Seattle radio history (30 years at KOMO-AM), and the preeminent endorsement voice in the Pacific Northwest. He also serves as Program Director of LITE 95.1 at Horizon Broadcasting Group. He is a sought after emcee for many community events, a past Rotary Club member, and is active in his church. Jeffrey began his commercial broadcasting career at KITZ-AM in Silverdale, Washington, then spent 12 years as host of the KAFE-FM Good Morning Show in Bellingham, Washington. He is a veteran of the United States Navy, and his wife, Maggie, has served two tours of duty in the Middle East as a member of the Oregon National Guard. She recently received an appointment at the Pentagon by the United States Army.
